Sacramento Hotels Farm-to-Fork Showcase: Challenge of the Chefs

Thanks to talented hotel chefs, an explosion of local breweries, and a thriving local wine region, Sacramento delivers on all three.

At the Sacramento Hotels Farm-to-Fork Showcase: Challenge of the Chefs, discover how Sacramento’s hotels and their restaurants are serving some of the freshest and most beautiful bounty the Valley has to offer. Explore the region’s delectable offerings alongside local hotel chefs, winemakers and craft brewers.

Along with the savory (and sweet) tastings and libations, we’ll celebrate a friendly competition among the hotel chefs and their culinary teams as they bring their best to the showcase. See who takes home this year’s award!

Proceeds from the 2018 event will benefit two local organizations helping those in need in our community—Wind Youth Services and Union Gospel Mission.


Event Proceeds Benefit

Wind Youth Services
Wind Youth Services provides supportive services and opportunities to youth experiencing homelessness. Wind Youth Services is the only service provider in Sacramento County focusing solely on runaway, homeless and street youth, and transition-age youth. The organization currently operates the area’s only emergency shelter and drop-in center for runaway, homeless and street youth and transition-age youth.

Union Gospel Mission
The Union Gospel Mission is dedicated to helping the homeless and the poor who are hungry, struggling, seeking help, refuge and regeneration. The Mission provides a safe environment to everyone who walks through its doors with food, clothing, many essential items, shelter, life-changing counseling and a recovery program.


Host Hotel – Hyatt Regency Sacramento

Located across the street from the California State Capitol, the Hyatt Regency is a contemporary hotel in downtown Sacramento, which offers passionate hospitality and inviting spaces where everyone gets the VIP treatment.

Thanks to the Chefs, their teams and hotels for showcasing the wonderful farm-to-fork tastings. Each station brought out rave reviews to the delight of everyone.
